If you’ve been considering EMDR for your healing journey, welcome! - this is a good place to start. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that can help you heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences by working directly with your brain’s natural healing processes. During EMDR, I guide you to recall specific memories while using bilateral stimulation — such as eye movements or tapping — which helps your nervous system reprocess stuck memories, emotions, and somatic sensations.

I’m a therapist who believes deeply in the possibility of healing, transformation, and renewal. My own journey through post-traumatic growth shaped not only who I am, but how I show up for others with empathy, curiosity, and respect for the many ways we heal and keep finding our way forward.
If you’re here, it likely means something in your story is ready for a change. Many clients come to EMDR and therapy after realizing they've been through a lot, and are ready to feel differently. Maybe early childhood trauma still lives in your body, or chronic stress has left your nervous system in a constant state of fight or flight. While these patterns served a protective function and have kept you safe, you're beginning to feel ready to release the places where your nervous system is still stuck in old stories. You're probably ready to feel less activated, less anxious, and more connected to yourself and others. With EMDR, I'll help you process the past without reliving it, creating space for a new experience in the present. This is a place to reclaim your story.
Whatever your story holds, it’s never too late to write new chapters
Life is complicated, and so are the stories that shape us. And if you're here, you've probably been through a lot and you're ready to make space for your own growth and healing.
For many of us, trauma isn’t just one big event, but a collection of moments that asked too much of you, for too long, without enough care or safety. Maybe it meant growing up in an environment where love and safety were uncertain or inconsistent, or where you had to be the strong one and put your own needs aside to care for those who should have cared for you. Those experiences can rewire how you relate to yourself and others, leaving your nervous system stuck in survival mode.
EMDR provides a safe space to grow, to process what’s been too heavy to carry alone. It’s not just about revisiting old memories. It’s about helping your body finally feel that those moments are over and you're safe now.
Living with chronic illness touches every part of you; your body, mind, and spirit. The ongoing stress of symptoms, medical uncertainty, and isolation can leave your system feeling stuck in survival mode.
EMDR therapy offers a gentle way to ease the emotional weight of navigating life with chronic illness illness. Therapy works to calm your nervous system, process medical or treatment-related trauma, and rebuild a sense of safety in your body.
Therapy can’t take away the illness or change what you’ve already been through, but it can help ease the emotional weight of living with it.
Anxiety can become your constant shadow if your nervous system learned to stay on guard 24/7. Often its because, at some point, it didn’t feel safe to fully relax. In many ways, your anxiety is protective. It’s your body’s way of trying to keep you safe, alert, and prepared even when the danger has long passed. The problem is, that same protection can start to feel exhausting when it never turns off and the anxiety keeps you stuck, unable to move forward or enjoy life in the present.
Telehealth makes EMDR possible from the comfort of your own home. Many clients find that doing EMDR therapy online allows them to feel safer and better able to focus on healing from anxiety.
Our earliest relationships teach us what safety, love, and connection feel like. When those bonds were unpredictable or painful, we often learn skills to protect ourselves that worked well then, but don't serve us well in adulthood. Some of the ways this might show up is staying guarded, people pleasing, or expecting rejection before it comes (think: self-sabotage). These patterns once helped you survive, but over time they can make our adult relationships feel challenging and confusing.
EMDR can help by getting to the root of your early attachment wounds: the memories, sensations, and beliefs that still live in your body and shape how you relate to others and show up in relationships. EMDR supports your nervous system in learning that connection can be safe (and can feel good!) again.
